bb question
I wouldn't take "environmentally friendly" to mean biodegradable if the packaging didn't specifically say they were bios.
I wonder what the difference is. Ive looked everywhere and cant find any info.
I think that environmentally means that it does not introduce toxins or what not as they lay there on the ground. I think they will eventually break down, but it will take several years. Where as biodegradable are made with a fast track to break down (6 mo or less). That is my opinion, I have found nothing to prove what I said.
The time in which they break down all depends on the weather and soil conditions. There are tests that have shown them to break down in as quick as 60 days with ideal condidtions, and also up to a full year in very poor conditions. Different weather and soil conditions will have a different result on the time it takes for the bbs to fully break down. But to answer the question "environmentally safe" does not mean that they are biodegradable.
