Did anybody in the lancaster/York area experience the earthquake today?

My office in Glen Burnie, MD evacuated for ~15 minutes.  Guy in the parking lot was getting updates from people in Montreal, Cleveland, Louisville, and Washington DC.  Apparently it was a 5.8 centered in VA and most of the eastern half of the US felt it.  My friend in Annapolis, MD said his wife was almost rattled out of her chair.

It was actually a 5.9.  I felt it in Camp Hill.  My wife's office as well as he Blue Cross building next door were evacuated.  I had a teammate that was driving in NY (upstate) and he thought his car was falling apart.  I have another teammate in Canada (not sure where) but he said he felt nothing.  Other teammates in Loveland OH, also felt the quake.

5.8 or 5.9, what's the difference.  I've still shaken my chair harder after a burrito.  Since there was no damage and no one reported hurt, it was actually a bit of a thrill in retrospect.  People I know who grew up in CA said this thing wouldn't have taken them out of stride.  But at least I can now say I've been in an earth quake.  Even if it was just a little one.

ROFL...funny you should say that. I was sitting at my computer and my wife starts to panic and 3/4 the people on my facebook started posts on the earthquake within 3 minutes (50 threads within 15 minutes...WOW). I love how they closed the penn street bridge because someone said a crack looked different. The dang bridge if covered with cracks..HOW COULD YOU TELL!!!
Then you have the guy on CNN saying he thought it was a terrorist attack watch it till :35..TRUST ME .
I like the east coast...but yall panic to easy

Well I used to live in Calif. and have been through worse but when you are standing on your tiptoes on a unstable steel beam 5.8-5.9 scared the crap out of me
